Refund Policy

Refunds, if applicable, will be processed in accordance with this Refund Policy.

1. GENERAL PRINCIPLES

  • All refunds are subject to the terms set out in this Policy.
  • Refund eligibility depends on the mode of payment, medical fitness, stage of cancellation, and nature of service availed.
  • Medical services involve advance planning, resource allocation, staff scheduling, and consumables; therefore, refunds cannot be treated at par with standard retail transactions.

2. PAYMENT MODES COVERED

Payments may be made through:

  • One-time full payment
  • Refund eligibility depends on the mode of payment, medical fitness, stage of cancellation, and nature of service availed.
  • Online payment gateways
  • EMI / loan-based payment (through third-party financial institutions)

3. REFUND IN CASE OF MEDICAL UNFITNESS

If a patient is found medically unfit for surgery after consultation, investigation, or pre-operative assessment (including but not limited to diabetes, cardiac conditions, uncontrolled blood pressure, or other medical risks):

  • The Clinic reserves the right to cancel or postpone the procedure in the interest of patient safety.
  • In such cases, the amount paid towards surgery shall be refunded, after deduction of:
  • Consultation fees (if already availed)
  • Investigation / diagnostic costs (if applicable)
  • Any non-recoverable administrative or processing charges

Refunds shall be processed in accordance with the original mode of payment.

4. CANCELLATION BY PATIENT (ONE-TIME PAYMENT)
a ) Cancellation Before Surgery Date

If a patient voluntarily cancels the surgery before the scheduled date

  • Refund may be issued after deduction of administrative, booking, and processing charges.
  • The exact deduction shall depend on the stage of preparation and services already rendered.
b ) Last-Moment Cancellation

If a patient cancels the surgery at the last moment or on the scheduled surgery date:

  • The Clinic may deduct a substantial portion of the amount to cover.
    • Operation theatre booking
    • Doctor and staff scheduling
    • Consumables and preparation costs
  • Refund, if any, shall be at the sole discretion of the Clinic and subject to actual expenses incurred.

5. EMI / LOAN-BASED PAYMENTS

For procedures booked under EMI or loan arrangements

The EMI loan may be cancelled in coordination with the respective financial institution, subject to their policies.

Any down payment made to the Clinic is strictly non-refundable, irrespective of the reason for cancellation

The Clinic shall not be responsible for

  • EMI cancellation charges
  • Interest, penalties, or fees charged by banks or finance companies

Patients are advised to review the EMI provider’s terms separately

6. NON-REFUNDABLE AMOUNTS

The following amounts are non-refundable under all circumstances:

  • Consultation fees (once consultation is availed)
  • Down payment made under EMI / loan-based payments
  • Charges for investigations, diagnostics, or consumables already used
  • Any amount paid for services already rendered
7. REFUND PROCESS AND TIMELINE

Approved refunds shall be processed through the original payment method only

Refund processing time may vary depending on

  • Payment gateway
  • Bank processing timelines
  • EMI provider procedures

Typically, refunds are processed within 7–15 working days, subject to external factors beyond the Clinic’s control.

8. NO CASH REFUNDS

Refunds shall not be made in cash under any circumstances. All refunds shall be processed electronically or through banking channels only.

8. DISCRETION OF THE CLINIC

All refund decisions shall be subject to:

  • Medical evaluation
  • Stage of service delivery
  • Actual costs incurred
  • Compliance with this Refund Policy

The Clinic’s decision regarding refund eligibility and amount shall be final and binding, except where prohibited by applicable law.

10. FORCE MAJEURE AND UNFORESEEN EVENTS

In case of cancellation or delay due to circumstances beyond the Clinic’s control (including pandemics, government orders, natural disasters, or medical emergencies):

  • The Clinic shall not be liable for losses arising from such events.
  • Refunds, rescheduling, or adjustments shall be handled on a case-by-case basis, considering feasibility and fairness.

11. DISPUTES AND GOVERNING LAW

Any dispute relating to refunds shall be governed by:

  • This Refund Policy
  • The Terms & Conditions of the Website and Mobile Application
  • Applicable laws of India

Disputes shall be subject to jurisdiction and dispute resolution mechanisms as stated in the Terms & Conditions.
